Authorized the increase of the retributions

\ This increase will be applied with respect to the remunerations in force on December 31 and with retroactive effects until January 1, 2023.

The Consell de Govern has authorized the increase of the remunerations for all the teaching staff, the cooperative staff of the cooperatives of associated work of teaching and the religious autonomous staff belonging to the concerted centres of the Balearic Islands.

The Ministry of Education and Universities will apply an additional salary increase of 0.5 per cent that will be applied to the remunerations in force on December 31, 2022, and with retroactive effects until January 1, 2023.

In addition, it also authorizes the payment of the complement linked to seniority and teacher training (sexennium) established to the Table of private and subsidized education and to comply with the Framework Agreement for the improvement of private and subsidized education. The amount of the first six-year period is 70.48 euros, and for the second, third, fourth and fifth six-year periods a percentage increase is foreseen until January 2027.

The increase in salaries is in addition to the labour improvements approved last September for the teaching staff of the subsidized schools by the Regional Ministry of Education and Universities. These improvements focus on re-establishing the right of the teaching staff of the private subsidized education to receive the economic complement of the benefit recognized by Social Security up to a maximum of 100% of the remuneration corresponding to the persons affected by any situation of temporary disability and eliminating the remuneration penalty for absences due to illness and accidents which may or may not result in a sick leave of less than five days.
