The Health Service receives the E-nnova health 2023

The director general of the Health Service, Javier Ureña, received the award at a gala event held yesterday in Madrid. Javier Ureña said that “the SISN2+ project goes beyond digital transformation. It involves a profound cultural change that drives a more resilient, inclusive and patient-centred healthcare system.”

SISN2+ is a project promoted by the Health Service that will be implemented in all hospitals except Son Espases. It is a system that provides a more modern, constantly updated tool. This makes it easier to incorporate new functions and technologies continuously and agilely. One of the most relevant benefits of the changeover to SISN2+ is the availability of a shared clinical history system with the rest of the hospitals in the Balearic Islands.

The E-nova Health awards are granted by Diario Médico and Correo Farmacéutico, leading specialized media in the healthcare sector. This is the third edition of the awards, which were created with the aim of identifying and recognizing digital health initiatives that add value, contribute to the sustainability of the system and improve the patient’s quality of life.
